Oh yes - the laid-back guy, very suave...but then most of the guys in it are...lucky bugger!

What a fabulous description - Absolutely loving this show... Jon Hamm is amazing ...but so is everyone really.
Each character is conflicted, with an outer shell that protects or smothers them....but occasionally stealing moments which allow their "hidden selves" to leak out.
Keeping the fires burning - Jon Hamm looking rather hot!
The audience stabilised this week; 242k > 145k > 148k
I thought that the agency ditched her in retaliation for the fact that he wouldn't move over to work for them. Don is most definitely a flawed character but I thought he found the fact that she was getting out there and being looked at and admired quite a turn on, and was quite positive about it. It was very late- I usually watch it on BBC2 so I may have missed something.
From what people are saying above, it is quite possible that the issue could have been written, acted/direced edited and screened without the Sally actress really knowing what was going on at all.
Of course, as I wrote those worRAB, I was thinking about the script where Sally says to the babysitter, 'I know the man p**s into the woman...', so they are involving her in some detail of the 'conjugation process'
Myabe as a 10 year old kid she may just be saying what she thinks anyway???
It is definately all a bit on the edge.
My eyes popped at the sight of Betty's dishwasher - it looks as though I'm going to have gone thru life without ever having had one
Did somebody here tell somebody else that Pete called on Peggy the night before his wedding and had his wicked way with her (after she let him in ) and is definitely the father of her baby?
If anyone is a January Jones fan, she's in a movie on BBC2 tonight: The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada with Tommy Lee Jones. I don't know anything about it except what the Freeview EPG says: "A patrolman on the US border mistakenly kills a Mexican immigrant and tries to bury him. Contains strong language [2005]" I shall record it.
parthena
Can I just say that though Pete is certainly not my favorite character (he's a little smarmy IMO) I had to admire his firm stance in the face of his father-in-law's obvious attempt at blackmail to get him to adopt. He clearly wasn't at any moment considering his wife's feelings about the issue, and only considering his family's reaction if they adopted, but I loved it when he said that Clearasil wasn't going to get what it wanted and hung up on his father-in-law.
That showed "cojones".
Did anyone else get the feeling that Don would be much happier with the original Mrs Draper? He doesn't have to try so hard with her and she already knows his big secret.
Isn't that what they are doing now, on Sunday nights?
I've just found out that Mad Men is nominated in the Bafta awarRAB this Sunday. It's under the 'International' category. I hope that means some of the cast will turn up - maybe one of them might even be a presenter?
Their competition is: The Daily Show, Dexter, and The Wire. The show starts at 8.00 BBC1.
