aren't genres a way of labeling things? what is it if it's not pop? maybe southern hip-hop? but then that lumps it into the same "genre" as Trick Daddy, Lil' Jon, Paul Wall, Mike Jones and the like. I'd rather be pop than in the same genre as those guys...but that's just me.

They're not THAT bad.

Though as far as Danger Mouse's projects are concerned, Danger Doom are a helleva lot better.

If you want to criticize hip hop, lets start with Lin Jon (hey buddy, the man in my avatar wants his sunglasses back) and how his skills as a rapper are so nonexistant it explains why he always invites guests on his recorRAB to DO the rapping FOR him.

i just like having a forum to talk about music and a pretty open one at that. i like music a lot more than people that are currently in my life. i can't talk to them about anything unless it's about really commercial stuff, which is fine, i like a lot of that but for instance I can't stand Audioslave, lots of the peeps around me do, they don't even know why really. i tell them it's because it's what they are supossed to like LOL they think it's credible because it's people from different successful banRAB, chris cornell is a good singer etc., etc. IDK but I just can't stand it. OMG and these are the same people that love Jimmy Buffett and Toby Keith, I swear sometimes at parties I wanna hurl. LMAO! Would you believe I get MADE FUN OF for loving Bjork so much! Oye Vey!
