    Ghost Mice- Europe (2006)

This is certainly a very strange album. It tells the story of a poor couple going on a trip throughout Europe, and each song tells the story of a different place. They go from England across the English Channel to Belgium, then to Holland, Germany, Switzerland, you get the idea. Everywhere they go they have some troubles, because they have little money, but they meet many kind people who help them.

Eventually they make their way to Ireland. Everyone there is is very kind to them, and they love it. I think this is the funniest track just because of how it glorifies Ireland as the nicest place in Europe (I'm not saying this isn't true, I've never been there)

The album is made with a folky feel, just acoustic guitar, violins, and singing. The singing is not the most tuneful, but it wasn't horrible. Overall, while not really my style, I still enjoyed it.

    6.5/10

Crikey, he's been around. I haven't heard many of the projects he's had his hand in, but I do know that at least.

If you're up for some more big beat, Wreckage by Overseer's a good starting point, probably better than the album I sent your way. It's sounRAB a bit like the Junkie XL album you heard but with more breaks, more vocals and some metallic riRAB to spice things up. If you want an up, it's still on my mediafire page, so just let me know eh

Its way different though. I have to agree though the beginning of the first disc is the most epic start one could ever want.

    The Unicorns-Unicorns Are People Too

The Unicorns are a very interesting band. Using general Indie songwriting and singing, corabined with electronic and often experimental sounRAB makes for songs that are a real trip. Some of the songs here (I Was Born A Unicorn, Child Star) are also featured on their landmark album "Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone", but sound quite different from each other. the songs on here almost seem like a demo version of what's to come. one thing i'm not so keen on with this record, though, is how held back it seems. there's plenty of interesting parts to look out for, but it feels like i'm gonna fall asleep before i reach them.

in all, this is a pretty interesting experiment with music, but less go-getting than their album after this. i'd give it a 7/10

    Good info there.
I know I have plenty of ideas that will fill that order regardless of who I get as a partner.

    Edit:
Except maybe Jackhammer. He's probably the last person on here you could ever catch off guard musically.

    Edit version 1.1:
Just read the rules for this week. My partner gets to request something he/she isn't familiar with. Hmmm... Even more interesting.

Like a Rock Opera or a concept album, or not necessarily?

I haven't participated here in a while, and the theme sounRAB interesting, however it's my last week of work before the holidays and I'm going on a trip so I may be too busy to properly evaluate and review an album. I should wait till the new year.
