France and uk bs after world war one caused wwii.
Everyone should read on the Treaty of Versailles, then consider the impact of punishing a country or putting a country "back into the stone age" is a good fucking idea.
pssh screw history. its not like it matters right?
right?
some people here only see what they want. Sure leave Iraq before its government can support itself. ok, lets say we do that. What happens? Maybe Iran does take it over. And lets say they do become a threat. Now we attack them. And our people die to remove Iran from power. People that could be spared if we did it right to begin with, versus pulling out and just leaving shit fucked up 30 days later. I mean its not like that has ever happened before (except Afghanistan, and Germany)
But again, that would be history, and we cant be bothered by that.
EXACTLY CORRECT. AND RIGHT!
Correct. We let Iran know that our nukes are superior to their nukes and that we can and will shut down their electrical grid via an EMP attack if they do one thing to piss us off. We should also point out that no country can trace the fingerprint of an EMP attack. These are the types of conversations our State Department should be having...vs... "How much can I pay you to be nice to me?"
I wouldn't be as worried about Iran getting in, as much as the nutcase that will inherit power out of Iraq's current condition. Not to mention when some radical cleric gains a foothold, which one undoubtedly will, we will have wasted a decade of blood and money. I was a senior in high school watching the shock and awe on TV in my art class in 2003. To think that I supported this shit.
no, no he didn't.
He campaigned on ending Iraq and focusing on the war we should have been focused on...Afghanistan.
But feel free to make shit up at your leisure.
you'd be wrong
he campaigned on closing gitmo in the first year
