What I mean by that is (just an example) comparing Rivera and Papelbon.
I just want to which common (or not so common) baseball player comparison is most off. It can be with any players, current or all-time.

Some people have mentioned some good ones, so I'll say a different one. Comparing A-Rod and Jeter. It's just ridiculous because these are two COMPLETELY different ball players. A-Rod hits for power Jeter is a table setter. What's even more ridiculous is how often you see people saying Jeter's defense is better than A-Rod's on those questions.
Its like comparing Joba Chamberlain to Clay Buchholz. The both have different styles of pitching. Joba goes with the lights out chees while Buchholz goes with the softer but deadly breaking ball. NASTY CURVEBALL!!!!
Pete Rose - Shoeless Joe Jackson
I find that one to be a bit off. One gambled and the other completely threw the World Series.
Good luck!!
