Can I take a CPE (Certificate in Proficiency Enlgish) without having taken CAE or FCE before?-- 10 POINTS!!--?

Can I just do either CPE or CAE without doing the previous one?
Or are they an obligatory requirement?
CAE (Certificate in Advanced English)
FCE (First Certificate in English)

They're all from Cambridge.

PLEASE it's urgent!
