T-mobile Sidekick 4G doesn't vibrate on text?

My Sidekick 4G is fairly new. It recently stopped vibrating when receiving a text. It still vibrates when I get a message on Yahoo, Facebook, in games, on alarms, receiving calls, etc. but NOT on texts. I have checked all the vibration settings a million times and have tried everything to get it to work. Has this happened to anyone else, and if it has (or hasn't) does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this issue?

yes, this has happened to me i just got my phone december 5, 2011 and it does the same thing.. once upon a time, it was vibrating, but now it doesnt. i dont understand why. can someone help me?
