Which car is better all around? The 2009 Nissan Altima or the 2009 Toyota Camry?

I am looking into buying a new car and I am undecided between the two. Which is better in perfomance and style. Also I would like to know some overall info about the two.I am a young college student looking for something dependable yet stylish...Help me out!

you can check them out at their official websites or visit a near by dealership for more information. I personally love the 2010 Toyota Camry LE that I got recently. The prices for a 2009 and 2010 Camry are the same (at least where I live). As far as the style, the Altima probably has a better interior design. However, I still prefer the 2010 Camry over Altima. You should do test runs for both and see which one you really like. In addition, I would also seriously consider the prices, finance options, tax, and insurance for both since you are a college student. Not a good idea to be in so much debt. I wish you best of luck!!! :-)

The Toyota Camry is more dependable than the Nissan Altima. They are both consider mid-size sedan. Weather they are stylish is up to you. The Camry is the number one sedan and they tend to hold there resale value better than the Altima. Hope this will help you out.

Well first of all the Altima and the Camry are two completely different cars. The Altima is comparable to the Toyota Corolla and the Camry is comparable to the Nissan Maxima. The Altima and Corolla are smaller vehicles and the Maxima and Camry are larger and more "luxurious". So if you are deciding between Camry and Altima, definetly the Camry. But if you want to compare apples to apples, I personally like the Nissan Maxima over the Camry. But if you are looking for something cheaper, the Altima is a great vehicle and I think the styling is better than the Corolla.
