If they're mashed potatoes and have something in them like butter or milk, I wouldn't risk it. dairy spoils really quick.
but if they're just baked potatoes, I wouldn't give a second thought to reheating them.
It also depends on who you are. some people are really sensitive and can't eat leftovers. I think you'd be fine if you ate them.

If they were boiled & the lid was left on after draining, they may be OK.

They probably aren't safe. Bacteria can grow on just about any food left out at room temp.
