This is my second summer taking summer classes full time. I really like summer classes. Yes, the material is more condensed but you get it over quicker. I've also found that generally the people who take summer classes are the one who really want to be there. The vibe from them seems a lot more laid back. I've made some really good friends in summer classes. I've taken everything from super easy classes to anatomy and physio. I think you should be fine with socio and com. As long as your willing to still put in work summer classes are really no different than full semesters.
