    Ohm's Law prac?

Standard prac to prove ohm's law with a power source, resistor (light bulb), volt meter and ammeter and variable resistor (rheostat). i need to identify the independant and dependant variables, but i aml ed to believe there are several. indep is current, and dep is voltage. but current is dependant on the resistance of the circuit, but this in turn is dependent on the position of the slider of the rheostat. is this correct, and i would i logically write out that there are three sets of indep and dep variables?

classification into independent and dependent variables is an artificiality that serves no useful purpose.

Especially in the case of ohms law, where any of the 3 can be either dependent or independent depending on circumstances.

But teachers seem to need this, so put down whatever you think will make them happy.

Many Many years in engineering, and the words dependent or independent variable never entered my vocabulary. You write the equations and do the calculations as needed.
