When opening a .swf file I cant locate adobe flash player to open it?

Ok so I've downloaded some flash games from the internet and they used to work but then one day I updated adobe or something and they didn't work anymore. They say shockwave flash object and then when i click open with > choose program to choose what to open it with I cant locate Adobe Flash Player 11, so I click browse and when I click on the file adobe, i then click flash player and all there is is a addins folder with a folder called airappinstaller and the airappinstaller file in it.

So please help me out, I want to play flash games on my computer but I cant find Adobe Flash Player to play them with.

P.S I don't want to play the game in firefox, I can get it working in firefox but I want it to play on Adobe Flash Player. Also I have the latest Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Shockwave Player. Please help me out as much as you can.

These games are not online, they are offline flash games, and also I axcidentally changed the thing to open the games up with to open with adobe reader when I was trying to find adobe flash player.

If any of you notice that I've asked this question before Ive made new ones because I had to put some extra info onto my question.

try to reinstall flash from adobe site,or try to install macromedia...
