Thread: On a mac can I use its migration assistant if my old computer is a pc?

If I can also my old laptop is broken and will not turn on. How can I do this? It would help me out a lot.

yes, it works with PCs too. if the computer won't turn on, you will most likely have to pull the hard drive out and put it in an external enclosure. this could be too technical if you aren't tech savvy.
