Lipids test question...can I drink wine? PLEASE help!?

My boyfriend is getting a lipids test tomorrow (for something to do with a stroke). He was told not to eat for 14 hours beforehand. I think it tests cholesteral or something. Anyway - the tard that he is went out and bought some wine for us. Will this wack the test, or are we good to drink?
It's three bottles of white wine (so he is planning to drink one and a half). I don't think he can - but they really didn't say anything about drinking alcohol, just not to eat.
10 points if you can help!

THE SUGAR IN THE ALCOHOL WILL EFFECT HIS BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS AND READING
ALSO HE WILL BE DEHYDRATED FROM BODY DEALING WITH THE ALCOHOL, AND HIS TEST WILL BE A WASTE OF EVERY BODY'S TIME THE FAST MEANS THE ONLY THING YOU CAN HAVE IS WATER
