Ok, the rear wheel bearing on the drives side went out. I limped it home on like that. I changed the bearing but its still making noises. Different ones though. A few things seemed strange to me. The bering assembly is no in where the grease can get to it. Its in like a bell housing or just inside a dust cover. The oil seal seems to sit inside and the bearing outside. Well the new noise sounds like the teeth clicking or grinding in the rear end. Is there a pin or clip inside the diffrental cover? When I pulled the shaft out of the axel there was no pin or anything like a keeper inside the differntal cover. Not really a place on there for one either. I'm used to working on Ford and Chevy. Is there someone who works on Honda or 4WD's that could help me out ??? thanks..... Oh, and how do I lift it a inch or two??? No one semis to have a lift kit.
