    PVR/HD PVR billing line item

Anyone notice a new line item on their bill: "PVR/HD PVR"? Is this a prelude to yet another new fee?

Nothing on my latest bill. My bill was dated in early April though.

I had the same thing happen to my bill, and been advised by a manager that there was a billing statement decription error and that it is a flag to identify type of hardware. I am assuming as I do, you all have HD or HDPVR receivers? I have HDPVR and got the same...stated that it will be fixed for my next bill....

    PVR/HD PVR billing line item

I think Emily's no longer just answering the phone; I think she's running Bell now. It's pretty tough to get a straight answer from them on many issues these days.

I was told that this line item was added on Mar 8. I have it appearing twice on my Apr bill because it was missed in Mar. But it's not separated into two billing periods or otherwise referenced like they normally do with additions. They also said it was for tracking hardware. However, I have other receivers so it seems strange that they are only adding the PVR to the bill.

I've had the 9200 for a couple of years and bought not rented so seeing this new line item, even though its $0.00, worries me, especially since they won't explain why it's added, nor remove it.

Wasn't there some issue about patent infringement of the pvr technology last year or so? Could this be related?

Or possibly for adding a HDPVR external hard drive fee. I sure hope not!
