As long as your claim has not been settled you usually will not show up on your C.L.U.E. report. Try to find an insurance company that writes a one year auto policy. By doing this you will get a year without a rate increase.

It won't matter. If you falsify your insurance application your 'new' company will likely drop you or up your rates by 60% when they find out. Worst case scenario, you have another loss, your 'new' insurer finds out you lied on the app., they refuse to pay the claim (which is perfectly legal). Then you're on the hook for damages to your car and $30,000 of medical and property bills for the other party. Then it's goodbye house.....
Suck it up, tell the truth.
