I want to just check that using my Vivitar 283 flash gun for a live music shoot with my Canon 50D DSLR isn't going to do any damage to the camera body. I've been told that older flash guns can cause damage to circuits.
I have previously been using it with a Fujifilm S9600 Bridge Camera with no problems.
