Heres where im at, Installing entire system, headunit, doorspeakers(100-300w each), with pdx-f4 amp, 2 subs(type x 12"(1000-3000w each), 2x mrp-m2000 amps, and a battery capacitor, so i come to 2400watts rms, but whats the best battery/alternator combo to get to run this system without a problem, even if on max i want it to be able to run comfortably. Thanks. (i drive an 02 vw passat 2.8l), stock 120amp alternator i was id need atleast 250, but more like ~290, others told me otherwise, im just not sure. personally i think a fitzall (universal import alternator with 220 amps, and 1 huge battery (stinger - SPP2250), has 6000+ watts, enough to cover my rms and could reach near peak (im not sure how this works please tell me if im wrong), and a battery isolator to keep my stock battery to power normal car functions and this one primarily for the system., probly a fuse holder also and stuff but am i in the right direction or way off? Help pls
