LeBron James said he didn't want to be in the slam dunk contest because he didn't want to be just remembered as a great dunker. i know michael jordan entered and won the dunk contest but he is still known as the best basketball player ever. but thats what lebron said.

It's not because LeBron James sucks. It's because he's more of a power dunker and not a flashy dunker like Jordan and Kobe and DWade. Also because all the good dunks have been used and only guys like Nate Robinson and Gerald Green actually have the time to think up crazy dunks and win it. (Although Howard won it last year and one of the rarest occasions a big man has won it in the modern era, mostly its the guards.)

U c lebron do these crazy dunks that are spontaneous or some crazy tomahawk or cock back they great 4 in games but wuld u give those dunks a 10 in a dunk contest. No he wuld have to create sumthing not that he cnt but I guess he doesnnt have that creative side to make sumthing up
