Yes, but the integrated camera is a CIF camera (352x288) and the camera headset I think that is a VGA camera (640x480). If it is not a VGA camera then I think it is not worth at all.

It is supposed to be. Generally, it's really happened.

since you mentioned "questions", i might as well ask here:

i've been trying to figure out whether the 3200 supports only midi-ringtones or other formats as well.

obviously, i did too much research for my own good:

    http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,,1...0,00.html#3200 says "midi and AMR-clips".

sms.at offers midi- and mp3-tones for this model.

Nokia Germany and Nokia Austria say "polyphonic midi and monophonic ringtones ONLY".

what am i to believe?! :confused2

basically - is it possible to use mp3/wav-files as ringtones on a 3200?

i'd just try it, but - i don't have a 3200 myself, so i thought i'd ask someone who does.

    thanks for your help!

    Oh.
But the 7600 is merely a revision of the 6650.
Funny, but the 7600 works on CDMA, while in asia GSM is the primary tech(except Japan)

the nokia website said that the 3200 has midi 16.
does that mean it plays 16 notes simultaneously and can play them up to 16 value?

because i have 7250i now which is midi4 and it can play 4 notes at a time and up to a 4 polyphony value....

also i notice many ringtones from this site have less than 16 channels so that would make sense.

Nokia 3200 support these sound formats:

    - Old Monophonic Nokia Ringtones
    - Polyphonic SP-MIDI ringtones with 16-notes polyphony
    - AMR sound recording clips

    does NOT support:
    - MP3 files (ringtones)[No a MP3 player as enough memory too]
    - WAV files format

SP-MIDIs are MIDI files compatible & able to be played and used as ringtones in mobile phones. They have NOT all midi files the SP-MIDI proper format. To test or make a midi file a SP-MIDI file use your Nokia Suite (Sound Converter module). For creation and more functions on SP-MIDI files use Nokia Audio Suite v1.0.2 (from Nokia Forum). The last update (v1.0.2) supports the 16-notes polyphony of Nokia 3200.

AMR: is a sound compression format / technology that is the standard for sound recording in (new) mobile phones. Nokia 3200 produce AMR clips when you use its sound recorder. AMR sound format is also be used as the encoding technology when you recording video clips with a video recording enabled mobile phone. The video stream is be encoded with 3gpp video format and the sound stream is be encoded with AMR sound format.

I hope to helped a little...

    gpalouk.
