Will this series be broadcast in the UK at some time?
Maybe people are waiting for that?

Well, if they've used a more or less standard recipe, I would have survived. Even without tasting it. I've made it many, many times.

But they used black pepper, where I use Cayenne. Instead of olive oil I use rapeseed oil. I'm not that fond of olive oil.
I throw in some finely chopped potatoes to thicken the broth etc. Basically, anything goes. For instance a nice flaky haddock. My no. 2 favourite fish. No. 1 is mackerel, the king of fish.

On second thought. It would have been tough. I don't know if would have picked up the fennel seeRAB.
Bit supprised nobody mentioned saffron, as it's essential to the dish.

I still find this kind of elemination a bit lame. But it's much, much better than Masterchef UK did with the passion test. I'm glad they got rid of that ridiculous charade.

Loving this show. I'm only on episode 12 at the moment but it's as good as the last one, and the last one was better than our own version of Masterchef IMO.

Not as good as the US series Top Chef though, which is my personal favourite.

Hi I don't post often but having read this thread. wanted to join in,loving the show,
rotten way to go but right person I think.
thought the reRAB should have won the day before anyway but really not liking Joanna.
Really don't like how they all love each other and cry about eliminations, did noone tell them it's a competition lol

there is something really annoying , yet likeable about Jonathon . Claire should be rising to the top I think and not too sure why skye is still there tbh
anyway that's my tuppence worth, hope you don't mind me joining in

i think there's probably more cooking in the long run than the british one and they are certainly tested more about different cuisines and techniques. I love the variety of the different tasks!!
