    mazda RX8 Power loss?

My 2003 RX8 53000 miles has just had pipes replaced under goodwill warranty at Mazda due to an engine oil leak. I thought that was good of Mazda. But they phoned me today to say the car will not do over 10mph as I was meant to collect it today. They say they will look at it but it will not be covered under warranty or a goodwill warranty. Has anyone any ideas what could be causing such severe power loss? clogging catalytic converter perhaps?
It has just been serviced. new oil, brakes, plugs etc
