Hard Riddle!!! 10pts for right answer.?

Ok. I solved this, but I could ask yes or no questions. I will be amazed if you get it right. Oh, and if you have already heard it, don't answer!

You are walking in the desert and you come across some sandbags. You walk a little farther, and you find 3 pairs of shoes, 3 pairs of socks, 3 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, and 3 sets of underwear. Then, you find three sticks, two long ones and a short one. Finally, you see a man, lying on the ground, naked, bloody, and dead. How did this man die? (you have to include everything else in the story. hint: the desert part doesn't matter)

uhhhh he ate the fourth pair of socks,shoes,pants,shirts,underwear. the fourth stick.he beat himself with sandbags then took his clothes off

I think he stabbed himself with a stick for some reason. The sticks all used to be long, and when he stabbed himself, the other piece of the stick came off? I really don't know.
