^^^^ Yes, very true, and a good point, but considering what a 'junk drawer' of a classification post-rock can be, the banRAB that fall into the category are usually either absolutely amazing or the next great cure for insomnia.

I guess I can see her appeal to some..... I guess I didn't get it cause my g/f is really into her and she can actually sing. Like for real is trained in choral music. So I just didn't get it... I still don't.

Maybe you`re not too familiar with the following saying.

To write off prog metal as a genre is ridiculous, just because you don`t like Dream Theater (Who as stated above are hardly modern) and the comparison with Trivium is even more ridiculous.

Before writing off a genre, at least listen to some of the diversity and acts in that genre...........it may surprise you.
