Thread: pride and prejudice monopoly board game?????????????????????????

im doing a monopoly board on pride and prejudice i need some ideas on what i could put for properties,i was thinking of putting an estate for each property.im thinking about making it where u can choose a character and u need to get the most money and the best spouse.can i get any other ideas and does my idea seem good.the main things im stuck on are the properties and how u can marry somebody.please i need suggestions?

This is either a really clever homework question, or a sort of clever idea for a monopoly game.
Suggest you read the book to get names of properties and thoughts on marriage.

Austen was really a great writer, and her pen flowed freely in particular on the attitudes of women toward men, vice versa, and, of course, how class played into it all.

There aren't many estates mentioned, not enough for Monopoly, so make some up.
As for 'how u can marry somebody'...that's a hot potato that's been juggled for many centuries.

If you want Austen's ideas, they are best gotten from her.
