JEWS, What do you think about the proselytism of the christians?

    Question for JEWS ONLY.

If you're a christian, please don't bother to tell me: "You have to accept Jesus" if you tell me something like that, your answer will be reported. Period. It's as simple as that.

Now the question, what do you respond to the christians when they tell you something like:
If you lied or masturbated even ONCE, then you're a sinner and you only can be forgiven by God, IF you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

I've always had problems with their attitude, because they think that it doesn't matter if you repent and ask God for forgiveness, no, no they say you also have to believe in Jesus.

What do you say to them?
    What says the Torah?
@Sarah Wise: you're not very wise, didn't you read the second paragraph?

I've never been deeply religious and I've only ever skimmed through the Torah, but if what has happened to you had happened to me, I'd simply brush it off and tell them how nice it is that they believe in Jesus, but He really isn't the guy for me.

I live in a very open-minded community that has deeply-flowing Jewish roots. I'd be polite about it, and I'd just say: "Thanks, but no. Please respect that I do not believe in Jesus. I celebrate the fact that you are so open about your beliefs, but they do not apply to me. Have a nice day". If they continue to heckle me, I'd just refer to the nearest police officer

That doesn't make sense. If you repent and ask God for forgiveness, then that would mean Jesus Christ's Spirit is in you because unless the Spirit is in us, we can't repent or ask God for forgiveness.

When Christians give me their head knowledge and panic stricken thoughts such as you described, I tell them that they are not God and to get lost. Sorry, but I just can't stand them. I also don't want to have any of their ideas about God and Jesus, stuck in my heart or head.

I have to protect myself from that kind of jargon because the word of God says that we must be on the look out, and alert to things that could take us away from our love and faith in Him.

Why respect anyone's views if they do not want to share it?
