    2002 Chevrolet SIlverado Spare Tire?

I lost my owner's manual, and I can't find out how disconnect my spare tire. It has a motor, and when I turn the key the tire won't release.

I have never seen one with a motor. It has a rod you use to crank the wheel down. The rod should be under the seat with the tire jack and the hole you stick it in is right beside the license plate.

like the comment above me I have never seen one with a motor to release the spare tire. I think that you are talking about the key hole behind the black box on the rear bumper. If you turn the key and pull out the lock should come out with the key and then insert the rod and crank it down.
