Thread: Spironolactone question...

I'm going to be starting low dose Spiro next month. 25 mgs to start off with. I currently take a BCP. Is it best to start spiro during the placebo week, or can you start it at any time during the pill cycle?

Anyone have any success with such a low dose to start?

Your doctor should have given you those instructionsabout starting the two. I believe the same time. Not much happens for cystic acne with that low dosage. Working up from 100 to 200 is what I know works.

Yes yaz and I started on 100 for a week then 150 for a week then 200 for 5 mo. and on the 6th mo I was still clear, so I tested going back to 100 and I am still clear on the 8th mo with 100
