Long story short, I'm an irreligious person attending an overwhelmingly religious college. This causes tension and discomfort around professors and students.

Aside from this, there is an unusually high amount of required courses, some religious, that I feel would prevent me from doing well.

There is another college that I feel I can transfer to, however the program for which I am majoring in is not nearly as great as the one I am in now.

On top of this, I feel guilty that I involved my parents with helping me out with a school that I would essentially leave.

So basically, while my major program is great at my current school, the high amount of requirements as well as the social aspect of the school are stressing me out and driving me away.

Are my reasons to transfer justified?
