I have a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country that I just purchased. I got this vehicle used with about 100,000 Miles on it. When my father (My mechanic) checked it over in his garage he found there was a SMALL oil leak by the rear Valve Cover Gasket. The only way to get to it is to tear the whole engine apart or remove the Cowling below the windshield. Both are very time consuming and a lot of work. I was wondering if anyone knew exactly how to change the Valve Cover Gasket in the rear or how much they would charge me at an actual garage. Please help. My dad said that I just need to keep the oil monitored and I should be fine. I am leaving in the next two days to drive about 600 miles and was wondering if it would be safe to drive with the oil leaking from the Valve Gasket also.
