How can i put mep code to unlock bb..help!

Anybody..how can i put Mep code for this BB9500 to unlock..i tried many times but no lock..the message from the screen wont appear to put that code..thanks in advance..

Just put an sim form another company and automatically you be promped from your mep2 code.

Follow the following instructions to put MEP code on your Blackberry 9500 Mobile Phone:

Blackberry 9500 Unlocking Instructions:

Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Blackberry 9500 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Blackberry 9500 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.

1 - Insert any SIM card and turn ON your Blackberry 9500.
2 - Turn OFF all the wireless connections.
3 - Go to Options.
4 - Select Advanced Options.
5 - Select SIM Card.
6 - Hit Menu and select Show Keybord.
7 - Enter mepd (you will not be able to see the typed Characters).
8 - Then Enter mep2.
9 - Now your Blackberry 9500 will ask you to enter Network MEP code.
10 - Enter the Unlock Code.
