Why do I bruise so easily?

I spent the other night in a hot tub leaning back against a hard surface, and now both of my shoulder blades have huge bruises on them! I have them on my legs and a few on my arms, and I have no idea how they got there. It looks unattractive to wear shorts or anything right now because of my bruises!

Is there a reason as to why I bruise so easily?

Could you be anemic?

I was tested for that actually about 3 months ago, and am not anemic. Could it be because I'm thin?

There are a number of possible causes, including platelet disorders, medications (including aspirin and warfarin), Marfan syndrome, liver problems, being a carrier for hemophilia, etc..
