I changed the timing belt, tensioner pulley and idler pulley on my Mazda 4 cylinder. After i tried to crank it up it shuts off immediately unless i keep my foot on the gas pedal. If i rev it up and hold it the engine idles perfect and sounds nice.It just shuts off when i let off the gas.I had the vehicle jacked up with only the passenger wheel in air for a week and almost no gas in the car.My brother said the car leaning to the corner and with no gas,its possible it picked up dirt from the bottom of the tank and clogged up the fuel filter.is this possible? If the timing was off would it idle perfect when foot on gas?Could it be electrical?Sound like fuel problem?Anything would help. Thanks
