    Should principles be allowed to search students backpacks and lockers?

    Yes...if on school property then they should be able to check for things like drugs, weapons, and alcohol

    With a justified reason.
    If they have no reason and it's just a "random" search, it is a violation of the students charter rights.
    Well that's in Canada at least. It's illegal here.

    no thy may have personal things i always so tht like wen ppl r lookin over shoulders to c wats in girls purses ill b like "hey! dont b lookin at her peronal things"

    No, because it has the student's personal things. They should only be allowed to search if they have a police warrant.
