I have had an account with them since 2005 and am eligible for an upgrade in September '10. It is my understanding that the huge cancellation fee is basically to cover the free phone you get when you upgrade every year or two. (I forget how often the upgrade is) Anyway, I have already "paid" for my upgrade as far as they see it I guess. About how much will I be looking to pay? Im looking for a ballpark figure before I get on the phone with these people. I hate talking to them if I don't have to. Thankyou!
Actually...it was 3 years ago....dumbass. I have been aware of that ever since I started seeing at&t on the bill I've gotten every month. Old habits are hard to break, and who cares? Obviously you knew what it was. I'm surprised you are old enough to even remember Cingular. Why am I wasting my time?
