The scooter gang didn't work in the first episode and they didn't work tonight. They're like something plucked straight out of Skins (that'll be Jack Thorne's influence no doubt).

Although having said that there were still Punks drinking cider on the buttercross in winchester in 1986 , they are probably still there now waiting for the post office to open to cash their pensions instead of their giros now
