Next month is the ninth series of I'm A Celeb. Last year saw it average out at 8 million, a big improvement on 2008, but how will this year's do? I reckon if the celebs are complete Z listers, the show will fall back to around 5 million, and also could be hit by strong competition from BBC One. However, if the celebs prove popular, then factor in 8 million viewers.
Would I also be right in saying ITV are planning to show it for another four series?

It's probably the same reason why certain films do well on television despite having been on countless times for example Miracle on 34th Street, The Wizard of Oz, Indiana Jones to name but a few. I have to admit, I watch The Muppet Christmas Carol every Christmas despite having seen many times.

[Wiser with age]

Another really strong Friday for BBC1, with the soap fillers inparticular performing well. Higher than expected for TOS, considering it was up against Corrie. Fairly low share for EE though, but all the soaps seemed down. NT as stable as ever and Norton performing very well in his new slot. Amazing really considering his BBC2 show was pulling in around 1.5m in a 10pm slot.

Another 7m+ figure for Emmerdale and as D.M.N. says an EE/Emmerdale clash would be interesting because both soaps are in a strong position atm. Plus the Wyldes final episodes must be airing in a few weeks. However if EE airs an extra long episode on a Thursday and Emmerdale remains at 8pm then EE will definitely win. Corrie seems to be slowly regaining its lead over EE, albeit very slightly. It should pick up pace with the 50th week approaching and Jack's final episodes are being advertised so I expect both of those to be 10m+ in just over a weeks time. POG as stable as ever too.

As expected for The Event-still respectable for that slot, but it can't afford to fall any lower now. Amazing for MPD too-what exactly was this stunt people are talking about???

Ouch at The Mentalist-1.3m for a new episode is awful. I guess CH5 will just have to patiently wait until The Event declines and NT enRAB.
