I worked on the Obama campaign and I am overjoyed that he won.
I am very proud of my country, especially given that a black man with the middle name Hussein was voted President.
We came together as a nation and voted for the best person!

Old Chinese story.
Boy runs away from home, the neighbors say "how terrible", his father says "we'll see"
Boy returns with a wild pony, neighbors say "how wonderful", father says "we'll see"
Boy falls from pony, breaks leg, neighbors say "how terrible", father says "we'll see"
The army drafts all the boys, but the son is spared because of his leg. the neighbors say "how wonderful", his father says "we'll see"
We'll see.
BO sucks.
His four year circus stint hasn't begun, and he's already disappointing his worshipers.
The Bush economy was based mostly in part on the housing and mortgage markets. With no regulations in place, a wild west type monetary explosion hit and fueled Bush's "ownership society." While the scam worked, it infused tremendous amounts of cash into the economy which consumers spent very aggressively while also racking up their credit card debt. This also made the rich, much richer. 1920's rich. When that unraveled we had a complete economic meltdown. The NY Times hits it up with a piece called: White House Philosophy Stoked Mortgage Bonfire
