Tomb Raider:

Production cost - $115 million

World wide gross - $274,703,340

Tomb Raider 2:

Production cost - $95 million

World wide gross - $156,505,388

So, for an outlay of $210m they got back just over $430m. I wouldn't mind that as a business model.

I stand corrected.

Although the law of diminishing returns had definitely set in for the sequel.

I suppose if they slash the budget to the bone a third outing would be a viable proposition.

It's not going to be the same without Angie!!! Still - was a Tomb Raider fan before I was a Angie fan so I guess I'll watch it, hope they come up with a good story this time, would be good to tie it in with the games....Avalon!!!

Both films were mostly carp. Worth watching for Jolie in those outfits.... but even that gets kind of old.

the problem is the games are basically a copy of indiana jones - so the films ended up being a copy of a copy of indiana jones.

AJ was great, its just the films were a bit pants

in fact, when was the last great action heroine??

geena davis was fantastic in long kiss goodnight.

ripley and sarah connor obviously...

but who else?
