"Cabin Fever" is on Ch4 tonight.Is it worth a watch?

God, I hadn't seen it before tonight, it's so appallingly bad! One of the worst films I've seen in a long time. The ONLY good thing in it was the 'ni**ers' payoff gag which yes was brilliantly funny. They should have just made it a full comedy because it was virtually a parody all the way through anyway. Just a step away from Scary Movie style.

OK there WAS another good thing about it - the blond girl played by Jordan Ladd. If you're looking for perfection well there it is (apart from in the scene where her face has rotted away!).

The behaviour of the youths was ludicrous. Typical horror movie fodder, doing the dumbest possible thing at any given moment. Continually lying and covering up what had happened even though lives were at stake.

I've now seen Cabin Fever, Wolf Creek, Hostel and Hostel 2. Are there any I'm missing?

The whole movie is ridiculous. A girl getting ripped to shreRAB by a dog?!?! And trying to make the movie funny as well as scary made it look like a farce.

Eli Roth isn't very good at mixing horror with comedy unlike the Peter Jacksons and John Landis's of this world and Cabin Fever's switch from one to the other left me cold.
Having said that, Hostel II is his best movie and didn't deserve the critical drubbing it got. Bring on 'Thanksgiving'!

Wasnt an aweful movie... but I wouldnt say it was a good one either... it passes the time though on a sunday night! The last half hour is where it really gets ruined though!
