I'm going to see this film purley on the basis that it's a Coen brothers film.... they're genius'
Looks kinda different to some of the other stuff they've done but i reckon it'll still be good.
anyone else thinking of going to see it?

Is that not the one with Catherine "Sue everyone that breathes on me" Zeta Jones in it?? - If it is, then I would rather burn my money and dance round the fire for a couple of hours.
I'm kind of in the same boat.
I love and adore the Coen brothers movies but I cannot tolerate CZJ.
I am so torn.
saw this yesterday-clooney was great but czj just walks around looking pretty and being shallow-so obviously a HUGE leap for her then this film was ok-from what i could hear of it with some d**k eating popcorn LOUDLY behind me
no - I think its Catherine *I'd be bloody well pissed off too if the bloody press kept sticking their oar into my private life the way they do* Zeta Jones...

Saw it yesterday. Very solid and accessible film. Should make the Coens a mint.
Not their best film by any stretch but I could watch Clooney till I die of hunger. He's just one the greatest male screen stars in the last hundred years. Actors are De Niro, Pacino but they aren't so much "stars". Clooney can act, though I've personally never seen him stretched, but he, more than anything, is a screen star. He eats the screen, he's watchable.
The script is peppered with great things. And the plot is pretty good. Not essential viewing, however.
Better than The Man Who Wasn't There but not as good as O Brother.

Bloody hell! Just how much money do you have to keep a fire going for a couple of hours? Can I have some before you burn it?
Ask the KLF.
pfft - She is in the public eye, she should not have married an old man to improve her hollywood employability status  You can just tell she thinks she is on a different level to the rest of us mortals.
I was going to go to the bank and exchange for Italian Lira, a fiver would keep the fire going for a good few hours hopefully
