Four Weddings and a Funeral

middle class americans blaming immigrants and ethnic minorities for low employment rates for middle aged white men, it has a great philosophy about male aggression and the 2 personalities displays the main characters alter egos.
brilliant film if u ask me...with or without the violence
Oh yeah, definitely have to agree on:
English Patient (biggest yawn ever?)
2001: A Space Odyssey (ok, not awful, but disappointing)
The Rock (yuck, Sean ain't made a good flick since Bond)
The Matrix (what a rip-off of old Twilight Zone stories)
Harry Potter (crap for kiddies)
It's A Wonderful Life (big fuss about nothing)
Manhattan/Radio Days/etc (pretty much anything from Woody Allen, except The Sleeper)
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (well, mediocre, I suppose, but wasn't worth buying the DVD without seeing it first)
Add:
Notting Hill (no plot)
Casablanca (boring b/w yarn)
Truly, Madly, Deeply (turned that rubbish off)
Oh, there must be so many, but I'm trying to forget them! And trying to avoid seeing them in the first place! nd
Yup. Sorry, I thought it was brilliant.
i agree.one of my favourites.subtle and beautiful
Thanks,
Id almost forgotten Notting Hill . Youve brought back the nightmares
u basterd
The Matrix
The English Patient
Moulin Rouge
Apart from Clockwork Orange and 2001-A Space Odyssey, anything by Stanley Kubrick. The man's films bored me rigid.
it was about this guy who had trouble sleeping.......
Iain
Being John Malkovich
It was a very clever film, quite original, but i have to say i didn't enjoy it one bit.
The Lord Of the rings
I just don't think that any film will do justice to the book.
Pearl Harbor
Terrible.
Titanic
This film was all the rage at the time, but now it has sunk firmly to the bottom of the ocean.
Fight Club
Again very clever in parts but not enjoyable and i thought it was really over the top.
