Has anyone seen this film? I thought it was a bit pointless to begin with but found it quit intriguing by the end.
If anyone can shed some light on meanings behind this film please let me know!

Is this the film with Cristian Slater and Winona Ryder?
Yup that's the one!
Brilliant film. I felt sorry for christian slaters character in the end. Dont know why.
The only thing in the film i don't believe is how good a shot Winona is, she manages to shoot slaters finger off when he gives her the bird.
It is a classic teen movie, but with a decent script, plot and acting.
Strangely Winona doesn't **** it up by being shit
Ahh! Heathers! I have the VHS, but recently rented the DVD for the extras Such great writing...
"This is Ohio. If you don't have a brewski in your hand you might as well be wearing a dress."
"Dear Diary, my teen-angst bulls**t now has a body count."
..and the immortal...
"Well f**k me gently with a chainsaw. Do I look like Mother Theresa?"
Looking back on it now, I don't think that Winona Ryder was quite right for the part, and Christian Slater was a little bit too much like a parody of Jack Nicholson at times. Still - a classic film!
Now this is one of my favourite films! I haven't watched it in a while (probably because it's on VHS) What are the 'extras' on the DVD? Worth getting? Personally, I love the conversation JD (? - Christian Slater's character) has with his Dad about the last time he saw his 'mom'!
And the 'frat party speech'........and the 'jocks' posed suicide pact'....and.......
*Audio commentary from director Michael Lehmann, producer Denise Di Novi and writer Daniel Waters
*'Swatch Dogs And Diet Coke HeaRAB': an all-new documentary featuring interviews with stars Winona Ryder, Christian Slater, Shannen Doherty, Lisanne Falk, director Michael Lehmann, writer Daniel Waters, producer Denise Di Novi, director of photography Francis Kenny and editor Norman Hollyn (27 mins)
*Screenplay excerpt: read the original ending!
*Talent biographies
*Theatrical trailer
Worth a rent, but not a buy! The 'Swatch Dogs And Diet Coke HeaRAB' documentary is quite good, but nothing that you haven't seen/heard before.
If you can find it in a '3 for
My favourite line from that movie is right near the end:
"Pretend I did blow up the school. All the schools. Now that you're dead, what are you going to do with your life?"
Probably sums the film up right there
