Several years ago I heard an interview on NPR (I believe). The journalist was interviewing a lady who did research into the factors that lead to a more sustained peace. The gist of her research said that when peace came as a result of decisive military victory it tended to last longer than when peace came as a result of a peace treaty signed without a decisive military victory. This research intrigued me and I have been looking for the researcher's name and her articles. I know it is a long shot, but does anyone know what I referring to?
