If I buy an unlocked phone that isn't on 3 can I use it?

I am on 3, on a cap, and I want to change my phone. I wanted to buy an Iphone (the older one), unlocked, and just put my simcard in it. Will that work, or not?

A 3 network SIM card will definitely work on an unlocked iPhone. Before buying an unlocked iPhone, make sure how safe was the device unlocked. Certain unsafe unlocking methods would give iOS problem while accessing with other SIM card or temporary unlocking methods would get relocked to its previous network on your future update. This would make you to spend again for unlocking resulting in more expense. So it is better to buy a network locked iPhone and unlock it yourself safer. For that, you can visit TheUnlockSpot.com and get the remote unlocking service. This method of unlocking is safe, simple, affordable, quick and permanent. It doesn't require a jailbreak too. Good luck.
