I love it when someone gets into one of my recommendations. It totally reaffirms my taste in music.

I only recently got into Tom Waits. I had a couple albums from my old roommmate (Real Gone and Blood Money), but never really got into it. I decided to give him another chance after I saw his reputation here, but I needed a fresh album. Everyone seemed to dig Rain Dogs, so I got that and now I can safely say I am a huge Tom Waits fan.

Plus this guy rocked it in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

The problem with worRAB like quintessential or seminal is that music critics tend to follow one another so just about every review you read will talk about how Rain Dogs is his best album and no other opinion gets voiced.

Additionally one of the things I like most about Bone Machine is the fact that it is inaccessible to a certain degree.

I love Tom Waits, played an awesome role in the movie Short Cuts, but back to his music, my two favorite cRAB of his are Real Gone and Mule Variations, haven't got to listen to he new one yet, but I really want to.
