^poor guy never had much loving when he was a wee boy did ya SFS
Anyway....back to the actual topic....Out of Exile by Audioslave. got it today.
Id rate it higher than the first album
The FutureheaRAB are one of the few banRAB i still have a soft spot for from my NME days, even after their pretty limp 2nd album.
Got round to this and i'm sadly disappointed. Good start with the first single but from then on it's hugely uninspired, felt like it was any other guitar band doing it. I think i prefer the 2nd album to this, not good.
yesterday i was listening to "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" on the radio and realized i didn't have any U2 albums, well now that's changed
The Raconteurs - Consolers of the Lonely
Neither one are as good as their S/T though.
Yezda Urfa - Boris (1975)
One of the few albums to emerge from America's prog. scene that I would, without reservation, call a masterpiece. It's beautiful, creative, manic and chock-full of all sorts of psychotic tendencies and impulses...just the way I like it!! :tramp:
It's not as haunting a composition as We Are Floating in Space but it's a great album nonetheless. Jason Pierce continues to impress me (and I've yet to hear Spacemen 3 ).
Primus- Pork Soda
Mastodon- Blood Mountain
The Brian Jonestown Massacre- Thank God for Mental Illness
