1-3 are associated with God, 4 remember the sabbath, 5 honor father and mother, 6 don't kill, 7 no adultery, 8 don't steal, 9 don't lie, 10 don't covet.

5 precepts: Don't steal, Don't kill, Don't lie, don't misuse sex, no drugs or alcohol

Four of Christianity's regard their God and worship of him. Extracting those, as there is no God in Buddhism. Three of them are identical. One is similar (adultery/misuse of sex). The only remaining being coveting and honor to parents and of course, the buddhist no use of alcohol and drugs.

So, do you see a moral parallelism in these?
