Even if you are unlocking an AT&T network locked HTC phone and using with a Y-mobile SIM card, You have to still pay the charge for internet. T-mobile network automatically detects the smart phone when the SIM card is inserted in and also it automatically adds a data plan. But you can change the data plan at any time. If you are not going to use much internet, You can choose a very basic data plan which is cheap in cost.
To unlock an AT&T network locked HTC phone, you need to enter its unique unlock code. You can get the unique unlock code for a HTC phone from TheUnlockArena.com at affordable cost with easy unlocking guide . Good luck.
